Grapevine, Texas: Kubota Tractor Corp. has rolled out the BX90 Series sub-compact tractor line with five new models and three trim levels: the BX2190, BX2390 Deluxe, BX2690 Premium, and backhoe-equipped BX2390S and BX2690S Premium .
Platform Advancements
Three platform-wide advancements form the foundation of every model: increased loader capability, mower performance, and operator control .
Redesigned LA355 and LA405 loaders offer lift capacities of 721 and 904 pounds, respectively. The BX2390 and BX2690 models pair increased hydraulic flow and pressure with quicker cycle times at lower engine speeds. The loader features dual bucket cylinders, an improved rollback angle, protected hose routing, and a loader cradle designed for easier alignment during attachment and removal .
New 54- and 60-inch mower decks feature welded-steel construction and either pin-on or drive-over capability. The available Swift-Mount auto-coupling driveline connects as the tractor travels over the deck. Side-by-side HST pedals are intended to simplify forward and reverse gear changes .
Model Features
The 19.3-horsepower BX2190 supports a 60-inch mower deck and the LA355 loader. The 21.6-hp BX2390 Deluxe can be matched with the LA405 loader and features upgraded controls including electronically controlled PTO engagement, 3-point hitch position control, telescopic stabilizers, and a redesigned mower deck-height adjustment .
The 23.9-hp BX2690 Premium features an electronically controlled engine, full-color LCD display, programmable engine-speed settings, and joystick-integrated throttle-up functionality. The BX2390S and BX2690S Premium versions are equipped with the new BT604 backhoe with a dedicated flip-up seat and an automatic stabilizer lock. The BX2690S Premium adds the LA405 loader .
